(1829 to 1837) In 1829 Half Dime production began again using John Reich's design reworked by William Kneass. E PLURIBUS UNUM above the heraldic eagle as added to the reverse. This capped design was used until 1837 when replaced by the Seated motif designs. All examples were struck at the Philadelphia facilities and are highly collectible today.
